Penybont maintained their perfect start to the season with a hard-fought 2-1 comeback victory over Airbus UK on Saturday. The win, secured by second-half goals from Rhys Hill and Ewan Cann, keeps the club second in the Premier League table with 27 points from 11 games.

The match turned on a first-half own goal from Airbus defender Liam Shephard, which cancelled out the visitors' early lead. Hill then levelled the score nine minutes after the restart, before substitute Cann came off the bench to net the decisive winner with just over ten minutes remaining. The late drama included yellow cards for Penybont's Ethan Vaughan and Moussa Manga, as well as Airbus's Jordan Parry in stoppage time.

This result marks Penybont's fifth consecutive league win, a run that includes a 5-1 thrashing of Ammanford AFC the previous week. They now sit just four points behind leaders The New Saints.

Manager Rhys Griffiths made several tactical changes during the game, introducing Owen Pritchard and Cann in the second half to alter the momentum. The team now looks ahead to a challenging away trip to face Cardiff MET on 31 October, where they will aim to extend their impressive winning streak.
