Penybont's Veterans' Women's team began their WorkwearSupermarket.com League campaign with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Cambrian, thanks to a decisive goal from Morgan. The win, however, was overshadowed by a serious injury to Cambrian's Emma Jones, who unfortunately broke her arm during the intense encounter.
